7 Qualities of Great Leadership
Ron Edmondson recently wrote a great article that outlines 7 traits that great leaders have. From the perspective of the person being led, these traits are:
The leader had a character worthy of following.
The leader believed in me more than I believe in myself.
The leader was available to me when I need them.
The leader challenged me to be better than I thought I could be.
The leader was skillful and competent, but not arrogant or self-serving.
The leader was visionary and challenged mediocrity.
The leader lived for a legacy, not immediate recognition.
These traits are all accurate and show a picture of what great leadership looks like. How do you stack up against these?
